Meet The Newest Additions To Our Family

BUBBA
O'NEAL
Yes, Matt named him after Shaq.

Told you I would settle for a goldfish :)

Their fish bowl is really cool.  It has a waterfall that flows into the bowl.
Very modern looking.
Did I mention how excited Olive is about this addition to the fam?

I Love The Feel Of My Own Sheets

I finally made it back from Korea,
however something of edible substance that steered very clear of Korean food just couldn't wait until my arrival into the USA; so I stopped at a little Italian restaurant in the Incheon Airport while I was waiting for my flight.  I was seriously surprised when the bruschetta I ordered was placed in front of me looking like it came out of a magazine.  It's beautiful right?!?!
I was even more surprised when I realized how good it was.
And to top it all off, I hit cloud 9 after I devoured this delicious cheese pizza as well.
It was absolutely perfect.
Not too much sauce, wayyy too much cheese, and a thin crust.
I could have sworn I was in Italy by the looks and taste of my dinner.

Feeling the need to unbutton my pants and relieve my overly full stomach, I refrained from the self inflicted, public embarrassment and decided to walk it off and try to digest some of my food.
No sooner did I get up when I heard the announcement that my flight was boarding.
Los Angeles looks like pin art from the sky.
So I have one question.
Is anyone here as particular about their seat on an airplane as I am?

Exit, Aisle Row
Otherwise I am a very unhappy camper.
Especially.
On.
An.
Eleven.
Hour.
Flight
!

Did I get an Exit Row?
No

How about an Aisle seat?
Nope

I was squeezed into my seat about the same as I was squeezed into my pants.
It was officially the longest flight of my life.
And to make matters even more enjoyable, when our flight arrived I got through customs very quickly and headed to the baggage claim.  I was the first one there waiting eagerly to collect my single suitcase and rush outside to meet my man.
Did my plan at all go the way I thought?
You're right.  It didn't.
My suitcase was the 500th suitcase out of 500 suitcases to come out onto the carousel.
I couldn't decide whether I should laugh or cry.
After coming out of customs and seeing my husband's fu man chu that he decided to grow while I was in Korea, I clearly picked laugh.

I Wish I May, I Wish I Might...

I took this on the flight back from Korea this morning
have this wish I wish tonight.
I wish and hope and dream every minute of every day.
I often times resort to prayer.
I always have big ideas and crazy plans and what most people would consider unrealistic dreams.
Unfortunately for my husband, he deals with my passionate debates and obsessions in overwhelming magnitudes about how I am going to accomplish something so spectacular, so magnificent, so phenomenal that someday I will be queen.
(okay, well that might be a bit of a gross exaggeration but you get the point)
I sometimes feel bad telling him my current wave of brilliant and far reaching plans, especially when I see him take a seat as I begin rattling off my ideas which are accompanied by my extensive supporting research of how this DREAM is possible.
These are supposed to be silverware holders.  I just think they look so pretty with a little candle lit in them.
Because I love my darling Matthew so much, I have decided to spare him (somewhat) of my exhausting plans and turn my wrath of excitement towards my fellow bloggers.
So now all of YOU get to look forward to my dreams and thoughts and ideas
but I warn you...
prepare yourself for some mind boggling, eye rolling, "you wish," kind of dreams.

Top 5 Short Term Dreams
(as of today)
1. To have Matt and I both get jobs in Korea and get to live together.
2. Purchase our first single family residence in Newport Beach, CA by June 2011 (contingent on dream #1).
3.  Book 10 jobs before I leave for Korea (also contingent on dream #1).
4.  If we don't get the contracts in Korea then I would like to purchase a home by December 2010 (I really really really don't like renting).
5.  Be able to fast from this Monday to Sunday.
Bonus: Get a kitty or a puppy :)
I would even settle for a goldfish.

I think I am just feeling an urge/societal pressure to take a huge step forward in my life and make things happen.
