How Time Flies

Tomorrow will be Matt's and my 1 week anniversary!!!

I can't believe it :)

And even though I am officially a married woman and I get to spend 24/7 with my best friend

I still miss my bestie and I can't wait for her to come back down.

We have already made so many plans for the next visit since it will not include countless hours of running around and numerous days where we are so busy we forget to eat.  Instead we intend on...

riding the ferry back and forth and eating Jane's corn dogs

spinning around on the ferris wheel until we get dizzy on balboa island

crusining up and down newport beach on the beach cruisers

eating nick's breakfast burritos (which just so happen to be the BEST in the world)

gorging our faces with fujiyama sushi and cinnamon rolls from the island (which also just so happen to be the best in the world)

K1 racing until the boys say no more

laying on the beach until our sexy is upgraded to supasexy

and my absolute favorite is getting our morning coffee from starbucks and walking around the island (this is like the ultimate BFF trademark)

But until then I get to spend more time with my hubby in Guys Mills, PA.  Anyone know where that is?

Yeah, neither do I.

When I return back to the homeland I will post some really cool pictures.

I HAVE A HUSBAND!!!

We did it!

Minus the fact that Matthew spent the night prior to the wedding throwing up (is it really that scary to marry me?) he was still standing at the end of that isle when I walked down.

I'm not going to lie, I was a little nervous we would have to use the life size cardboard cutout we had outside our rehearsal dinner as a stand in.

But all in all the wedding was beautiful and so much fun!  The toasts were hysterical, the dancing went all the way to last call, the photo booth was a total hit, "my humps" never fails at wowing the crowd, the props took the party to the next level, the dessert stand was impeccable (nice job cam!), and the lights were killer.  Oh, and I got married to the man of my dreams!

Did I mention we had In N Out as well?

Sounds like a pretty successful night eh?

Timeless and Beautiful

I went over to my mother's friends place yesterday to see this collection of perfume bottles her friend had put together over the years.

On the drive over my mom was telling me how she had her entire house renovated in order to install display cases for her perfume bottles and the bottles ranged in price from $2,000 to $25,000.

First thought that crossed my mind, "what a nut job!"

1. Why would you renovate your house to display perfume bottles?

2. Why would you spend an ungodly amount of money for such a pointless object?

After about 30 minutes of turning down every wrong street trying to find the home that held these perfume bottles I was even more frustrated by the fact that I decided to tag along to see something that I was so disinterested in.

But I must admit, when I walked into this self constructed museum of colorful, delicate, and intricate designs that held some of the most fascinating stories from as far back as the 1600's, I was awe struck.

This woman had to have had thousands of bottles all categorized by their color all over her house.

Some of the bottles still had perfume in them!

All the colors and pretty little feminine designs started to make me wish I had thousands of pretty little bottles to put around my house.  I even went so far as to buy one from her to start my own little collection even though my first antique perfume bottle purchase will probably be my last.

Definitely worth the trip.
