Sunday Giveaway

Like I promised, here is my first giveaway!

As many of you know, I am currently living in Cyprus which is a small island off of Greece.
Thankfully, this small place has really held onto and celebrated its roots not only through the excellent food but also the architecture of the buildings and the handmade and hand painted goodies which I have fallen in love with.
They are so beautiful!
So I figured why not share my love for these items with you.
{Plus I know Camilla really wants one}

These authentic, hand painted, one of a kind plates and bowls are what is up for grabs. I picked them up while walking around the market place and thought you all would love them too.

So here is how you enter:
Comment on this post telling me the one place you MUST visit in your life and why.

If you are a follower, leave a second post with the word 'follower' and your favorite color.

Then cross your fingers and hope that 3/29/2010 is your lucky day!

I am so excited about this and I hope you all enjoy it.
I can't wait to read about your dream places to visit!

I'm Sorry Kenza

{Sorry Cam, I used the same picture. It's just SO pretty!}

I know this is wayyyy past due.

But anyways, for those of you who do not know Kenza,
she is the most adorable girl EVER.

Yes, she may be fifteen but she is the most
intelligent
wise beyond her years
mature
BEAUTIFUL
person I have ever met.
I feel like she should be where I am in life.

My darling little friend tagged me in her post to describe myself with 8 adjectives.
So here it goes...

I am a charismatic, demanding, very tall, perfection-obsessed,
SAVVY, tenacious, kitty-loving, do it herself kind of girl...

...Who is absolutely IN LOVE with her main man Matthew!

I hope everyone enjoyed my little bit insight on myself as much as I enjoyed sharing it.
It was kind of fun asking my fiance and my parents their opinions of adjectives that best describe me.
Aside from their initial jokes and zingers, it was really nice listening to what they had to say.

OPAH!

Last night, Matt, a few of his teammates, their significant others, and I went to this little local bar that played live music.
It was so cool.
I didn't understand anything they were saying but it was still so cool!

Every single Greek person in that place was either on a chair or a table dancing.
Think My Big Fat Greek Wedding x10

They gave us baskets of flowers to toss at the performers we liked
(which for the boys turned into a flower chucking war)
Lets just say many of the performers got nailed in the face on multiple occasions with shredded carnations.
And when the carnations ran out, our bowl of peanuts soon found it's way up onto the stage as well via the male "grownups."

After a few drinks (necessary inside that war zone) I escaped to the bathroom to find this......
Kind of gross, I know. But I had to try it out.
I mean seriously, have you ever seen anything like this?
2 Euros for 2 minutes
complete with instructions on how to straighten or curl!

Only in Europe.

So Flippin' Cute!

MmMmMm

My friend, Mrs. Rachell Buell, has the most incredible eye for detail and pulling things together to create something so simple yet perfect. She's my personal Martha Stewart.

She just recently got married and the above picture was her dessert bar at her reception.
Isn't it just picture perfect?

I love the glass details and the illuminating lights.

Well fortunately for me, I have her helping me with all of my little details and I am really liking some of her ideas.

She's a clever one.

Anyways, I was thinking of "borrowing" her dessert table idea and filling it with all of these little divine goodies!
I get goosebumps just thinking about it!
